CARDOZO HOTEL 2
TDA001

Probably the most recognizable of all of Vondracek's South Beach images. Created in 1980 as a Limited Edition 12-color serigraph and subsequently reprinted as an offset poster, this reincarnation is unique from prior publications in that the infamous spelling error has been eliminated.

Available in two sizes:
12" x 18" $100
24" x 36" $250

 CARDOZO HOTEL 1
TDA016

Very early (1977) poster for the Cardozo Hotel.

Available in two sizes:
12" x 18" $100
24" x 36" $250

VICTOR HOTEL 1
TDA022

Typical dramatic building interpretation combined with classic Deco typography and his love of racing seaplanes. Thanks to the discovery of his first sketches for this poster this differs from the originally published version and is now available as the artist originally designed it.

Available in two sizes:
12" x 18" $100
24" x 36" $250

Probably the most elaborate of all of Vondracek's architectural theme posters, the perspective from above and numerous colors make this image a departure from most of his work.

Available in two sizes:
11" x 18" $100
22" x 36" $250

TIDES HOTEL
TDA010

Poster originally designed as a postcard for the Tides Hotel in the early 80s, then The Lab and now this. The original Tides postcard artwork is lost but if it is ever found it will replace this design.

Available in two sizes:

OVO

22" x 36" $250

SOCIETY BILLIARDS
TDA008

Poster for short lived upscale billiard parlor in the space over the old Cinema Theater. The nude image was a point of contention between the owners and the WPBA. Needless to say, political correctness won out and this design did not last as the club's logo.

ART DECO WEEKEND 1983
TDA018

ART DECO WEEKEND, 1983. A last minute decision by the Miami Beach Junior Chamber of Commerce killed this design as the official image of the event. I saw it as symbolizing a proud emergence of the District. All they saw was a naked woman.

Available in two sizes:
12" x 18" $100
24" x 36" $250

OLD MIAMI BEACH
TDA003

Originally designed for the Victor Hotel, this image has seen several reincarnations and this is the latest combining the early designation for what is now known as South Beach and the slogan from another poster that's been lost to time.

12" x 18" $100
24" x 36" $250

ART DECO WEEKEND 1992
